20 years as a tour guide; I’ve seen it all and then some! I was always enthusiastic about exploring my country. But it was my father who inspired me to make a career out of it and become a tour guide. My favourite destinations are Nuwara Eliya for its glorious climate and scenery, Anuradhapura for its fascinating history, and Galle for its coastal beauty. When I’m not leading tours, I love reading history and visiting ancient places. One of the most memorable experiences as a guide was when a British family I took on a tour in Sri Lanka invited me to stay with them in the UK. Sri Lanka, to me, is a hidden paradise on the Indian Ocean, waiting to be discovered by curious tourists.
I am a National Tourist Guide accredited by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
