I am in awe of Sri Lanka; not only is it home to 8 incredible UNESCO world heritage sites, but it is surrounded by gorgeous beaches and boasts of a rich cultural heritage that can be witnessed in cities such as Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, and Sigiriya and is also a wildlife haven. Within just a short drive, the climate changes from sunny to sweater weather, and the scenes and sights along the way are breathtaking. Although I became a tourist guide because of my love for travelling and exploring new places, I also feel it is my responsibility to help people around the world discover the versatile country that is Sri Lanka. When I’m not driving around spotting elusive leopards and treating guests to some of the best Sri Lankan cuisines, I slide down the YouTube rabbit hole to learn new languages and discover music.
