Negombo to Ella by train
The first option we get to consider is arranging the transfers by train. Usually trains offer, affordable transfer rates, but unfortunately there are no direct train transfer option that is connecting Negombo and Ella. Hence, if you are planning to make your trip by train there are few of the things that you have to consider for surely.
As there are no direct train transfers, you have to first proceed to Colombo Fort central railways station that is located about 40 Km away from Negombo. If you are planning to make it by train, first you have to proceed to Negombo railways station and from there you have to check for the departures to Colombo.
As Negombo is known as a sub train station, there are lesser number of frequent departures so you may have to wait for the next departures for hours in case if you have missed the train.
