It has been over a decade since I retired from my tech executive post and started my profession as a tourist driver and guide. It’s probably the best decision I made! My mission is to help travellers discover the real Sri Lanka, not just the sites and cities marketed to tourists. My favourite tours include wildlife safaris in the National Parks of Sri Lanka and leisurely drives through the tea country, including Nuwara Eliya which is known as the Little England of the country. Looming over the hill country in a hot air balloon with a group of travellers, enjoying a bird’s eye view of the lush green mountains and waterfalls is one of my most memorable moments as a tour guide. I undertake Round Tours, Sightseeing Tours, Day Excursions, Culture and Heritage Tours, and Wildlife Safari Tours.
