Nallur Kandswamy Kovil is one of the most important places in Jaffna that you should not miss if you visit.

The Jaffna Library is the city’s most famous landmark. After the Colombo Library, this is Sri Lanka’s second-largest library. In 1981, it was one of Asia’s largest libraries. 

Another must-see in Jaffna is the Keerimalai hot spring. When you take a bath in spring, you can wash away your sins.

Hindus have a strong belief in this. The unique feature is that the pond is connected to the ocean, however, the salty water cannot be tasted in the pond water.

The sunset at Jaffna Fort is a must-see. You can unwind by taking a short walk along the trails established at the fort. It was constructed during the Dutch period and has undergone some restorations.
