Board bus number 22-9 which goes towards Colombo Fort and come off the bus at Ambepussa. From Ambepussa, board bus number 49 towards Trincommalee and hop off at Kadurugas Junction Bus Stop. And that is it, you are at your location.

    For a longer run, it will take you 5 hours. Here is the route for the same. From Kandy, take a tuk-tuk to reach Maligawa Bus Stand. Board bus number 9-1 towards Colombo Fort and reach Ambepussa. From here, board bus number 6/558 towards Moragollagama and reach Polaththapitiya. Finally, take a tuk-tuk to reach Kurunegala. The total cost of this journey must not exceed LKR 200.

    The final mode of transport from Kandy to Kurunegala is a train. From Kandy, board the train KDT/PLG-1151 to reach Polgahawela railway station. This will be a journey of 3 hours and 35 minutes.

    Another way is to travel to Polgahawela railway station by train KDT/FOT-1040 from Kandy. And from here, board another train, MLV/FOT/KKS-4021 towards Kankasanturai and reach Kurunegala railway station. This will be the journey of 3 hours.
