Description
Nandana is an experienced tour guide and driver with a remarkable 21 years in the profession. His journey began with his work as a training officer at the Department of Wildlife Conservation, where he had the opportunity to interact with both foreign and local tourists and tour guides. Inspired by these encounters, Nandana nurtured a dream of becoming a tour guide himself. In 2002, he completed the Chauffeur Tourist Guide Lectures course, and by 2007, he had completed the National Tourist Guide Lectures course. Since then, Nandana has been leading small and large tour groups, specializing in birding, wildlife, tracking tours, and general tours. Despite his experience as a guide, he still enjoys driving tours.
Nandana is fluent in English, allowing him to effectively communicate with tourists. His favourite destination in Sri Lanka is the Hill Country, known for its breathtaking landscapes and scenic beauty. While Nandana does not mention a specific unforgettable experience, it can be inferred that his extensive career has provided him with numerous memorable moments as a driver and guide.
Nandana’s personal offer to tourists is to show them the real Sri Lanka and provide them with an authentic Sri Lankan experience. This commitment ensures that visitors get to immerse themselves in the country’s rich culture, traditions, beautiful beaches, and wildlife.

Nandana holds the accreditation of a National Tourist Guide Lecture, obtained under the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority. This certification further validates his expertise and professionalism in the field. With over two decades of experience, language proficiency, and a genuine passion for showcasing Sri Lanka, Nandana is a trusted and knowledgeable guide and driver who ensures that tourists have an authentic and memorable experience in the country.
