Specialising in the history and ancient archaeology of Sri Lanka sparked my interest in becoming a Chauffeur Tourist Guide 20 years ago. Talking about the country’s rich heritage brings me a sense of pride and I am committed to sharing my knowledge with tourists who visit the country. Close encounters with elephants notwithstanding, I still wake up every day excited about my profession. I love watching travel channels and learning about other cultures too.  The sacred city of Anuradhapura is my favourite destination to tour as it has many significant and awe-inspiring monuments, relics, and stories that speak for themselves.
